Women, Money, Power and Cannabis

Ever wondered why women raise only 2% of venture dollars despite owning more than 40% of businesses in the U.S.? This episode tackles the challenges facing women entrepreneurs, particularly in the cannabis industry.

Cannabis is one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S. right now. Currently nearly 500,000 people work in weed, and there are more cannabis workers than dentists! We have an opportunity in this new industry to see what hasn’t worked well in other industries and to make it better. My view is that more women leaders make companies and industries better, which leads to better products, better services and to better outcomes for us all.
