Welcome back to How to Do the Pot, a podcast de-mystifying cannabis for women. I’m Ellen Scanlon. On these short episodes, we share women’s stories about the first time they bought legal weed. I hope they bring a little fun and a new perspective into your week. Esha Jalota is the California-based growth manager at Quim, a self-care line for humans with vaginas and humans without vaginas who love vaginas.
Esha Jalota (00:31):
My first time buying legal weed was back in November of 2017. I had just moved to San Francisco, and there was a dispensary just down the street from me. I got my medical card, went on in, and pretty much got confused by all the different options. But I remember I bought a couple pre-rolls and some edibles, and there was a dab bar, but definitely didn’t dabble with that just yet. And it was a pretty cool feeling to legally purchase something, pay tax on my cannabis products, and just walk two blocks home.
Esha Jalota (01:12):
I don’t really remember what I did right after, which to me means that I think I pretty much enjoyed the products and probably got some great San Francisco food.
Ellen Lee Scanlon (01:25):
